November 26, 2020Julian Assange's partner, Stella Moris, addressed outgoing US President Donald Trump on Twitter an appeal for pardon for the founder of WikiLeaks, in prison in the UK.

Posting a photograph of the couple's two children, Moris wrote: "These are Julian's children, Max and Gabriel. They need their father. Our family needs to be united again. Please let him come home for Christmas".

The 49-year-old remains in a maximum-security prison in London, pending the judges' decision on his extradition to the US on espionage charges.

He has been in solitary confinement in his cell for over a week, due to a coronavirus epidemic in the prison.

The judges' decision is expected by January 4th.

During the period of exile in the Ecuadorian embassy in London, Julian Assange would have two children with Stella Moris, one of his lawyers.

According to the Daily Mail, which broke the news last April,

the story between the founder of Wikileaks and the woman of South African origin began in 2015.

The first child Gabriel was conceived in 2016, while the second, Max, in February 2019. Both while Assange was in a "restricted regime".
