The support package is based on a number of easing and adjustments in the regulations for local companies, but also in the form of payment of pure cash.
Two similar packages were launched this spring.
Costs over a million
The sum that is invested is SEK 1.1 million, but in addition there is also a previously decided effort which means that all municipal employees' Christmas presents are converted into a gift card that can be used in the local trade and service industry.
There will also be extended free parking along the streets in central Nyköping until 31 March 2021.
Reliefs in the regulations and abolished fees
An example of relief in the regulations is that no fee will be charged for catering and alcohol permits between 1 January and 30 April 2021. Another example is an extended deadline for payment of invoices to the municipality.
The municipality will also offer free digital HR support regarding short-term layoffs, notice and the like.
