The gauge of places of worship must be specified

First of all, Jean Castex must clarify the fate, pending, of driving schools and real estate agencies.

In all likelihood, it should reopen on Saturday, like other businesses so far considered non-essential.

The Prime Minister must also specify the gauge for worship, set at 30 people by Emmanuel Macron, which surprised some religious leaders.

The latter are calling for increased capacity, especially in large buildings of worship.

But some in the government are arguing for an easing from December 15 only, when the curfew is passed.

Jean Castex's press conference will also be a crucial moment for cinemas and theaters which are awaiting arbitration on the time-stamping of tickets which will serve as proof of travel.

The idea of a tolerance for sessions ending a little after 9 p.m. is gaining ground.

Measures still to be decided

Jean Castex, however, may not have an answer to everything this Thursday, especially on the isolation of the sick.

The President of the Republic opened the door to a binding system which should be the subject of a debate, the principle of sanction not being unanimous within the majority.

The government is talking about a parliamentary debate on this subject in December and a bill in January.

The same goes for the citizens' committee on the vaccine: at this stage, everything is being set.
