Several police patrols and an ambulance were sent to a courtyard on Hyacintgatan after several alarms about gunfire.
There they found a gunshot wounded man.
- It is an adult man, but we have not established his identity yet, says Evelina Olsson at the police press service in the South region.
The man was taken by ambulance to hospital, but his injury situation is still unclear.
Looking for several perpetrators
The place has been cordoned off and the police are hearing witnesses.
According to the police, there are several perpetrators that they are now looking for.
Gun dogs have also been sent to the scene.
The police are also on site at Malmö Hospital, where the man is being treated for his injuries.
