He pointed out that in light of the "Corona" pandemic, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, issued a decision to establish a committee for accommodation and evacuation as a contribution from the Dubai government in facilitating the affairs of the stranded during the Corona pandemic, in cooperation with strategic partners. For his part, the Assistant Director General of the Violators and Foreigners Follow-up Sector at the Department, Brigadier General Khalaf Ahmad Al-Ghaith, said that some believe that the violator is the one whose residence or visa has expired, but the issue of violators is more comprehensive and broader than this definition, where the violator is a person with a valid residence and a valid visa. He added that the penalty for failing to report a worker leaving his job is 50 thousand dirhams, and the penalty for the violating person is imprisonment or a fine, deportation and his name in the list of those banned from entering the country, and for whoever uses an infiltrator, the penalty is increased to two months imprisonment with a 100,000 dirhams fine.

He explained that whoever enters the country on a tourist or visit visa is not authorized to work without obtaining a permit, and the penalty is a fine or imprisonment and deportation from the state, and the penalties for the person who employed him reach a fine of 50 thousand dirhams.

For his part, the Acting Assistant Undersecretary for Inspection Affairs at the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, Mohsen Al-Nassi, stated that the Ministry has launched several service centers to educate workers, including guidance centers, in addition to the various channels that educate the worker about ways to communicate when exposed to any problem or violation, as well as The ministry’s call center was opened at 80060 in 20 languages. The center operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to receive any complaints from workers.

Lower the crime rate
