Neckarzimmern (dpa / lsw) - A 55-year-old truck driver has been driving for haulage companies more than 120 times since summer 2019 without a valid driver's license. The police had become aware of the man during a check in mid-October on federal road 27 near Neckarzimmern (Neckar-Odenwald district). He could not show a driver's license or a driver card. Further research has now brought to light at least 123 trips without a driver's license, the police reported on Wednesday. Among other things, the truck driver was employed by freight forwarders in Bruchsal and Aalen. According to the information, both forwarders have not yet been able to provide any evidence that they have checked the man's driver's license and driver card. Therefore, the two fleet managers of the two companies are also being investigated.
