Federal prosecutors said this was a suspected terrorist attack.
The Swiss canton of Ticino police stated that the attack has ended and the 28-year-old suspect living in the area has been arrested.
According to reports, one victim was seriously injured but not life-threatening, and the other suffered minor injuries.

Earlier in November, a terrorist shot and killed four people in Vienna.
Later, in Winterthur near Zurich, two men were arrested. They may be related to the shooting in Vienna. They met with the attacker in July.
