Mönchengladbach (dpa) - Shakhtar Donetsk fright Alassane Plea is back in Borussia Mönchengladbach's squad for the Champions League game against the Ukrainian champions after the end of his quarantine on Wednesday.

The 27-year-old Frenchman will initially only be sitting on the bench on matchday four of Group B.

Newcomer Valentino Lazaro is making his starting eleven debut for the Gladbach team.

In the attack, coach Marco Rose also relies on Marcus Thuram, Breel Embolo and captain Lars Stindl.

Plea, who scored three goals in the 6-0 first leg in Kiev three weeks ago, was last in quarantine for two weeks after a positive corona test.

After the symptom-free course, Plea only took part in the Borussia team training again on Tuesday.
