At 23, PSG midfielder Grace Geyoro told AFP that she "feels good" in the France team where she is "trusted", at the heart of an autumn of selection tensions that led the players to "take stock" at the start of the gathering.

Q: After the victory of your Paris SG against Lyon on Friday (1-0), do you arrive with full confidence at Les Bleues?

A: "It's true that we have just come out of a very good match, for the Lyonnaises as for us, the Parisians. With the victory on our side, we are very satisfied and we arrived in the France team with very good We have talked about it a little necessarily, we laugh about some things but a new week begins, we know that we are there to wear the jersey of the France team. The framework is changing, it's true, but we manages to sort things out. "

Q: Between the strong sporting stake (qualification for the Euro to be validated) and the tensions of the last days, do you feel that this gathering is different from the others?

A: "Not necessarily. There were a lot of events, it's true. But when we arrived in the selection, the coach (Corinne Deacon) made it clear to us that we had to focus on the match. Austria and that if there was to be a discussion (on the tensions), it had to be later. We also had a discussion between players, we decided to meet a little bit at the start of the camp to to take stock between us, and also to tell us that we had to focus on the coming match because it is a very important match for us. "

Q: Amandine Henry's speech (the captain of the Bleues regretted the "heavy and negative feedback" from the locker room and a climate of "fear" in the selection in a recent interview) did it surprise you?

A: "Amandine said what she had to say, that's all. I don't have a personal opinion on it."

Q: What has changed for you since the World Cup-2019 where you have hardly played, and these last months when you have established yourself as a holder of the Blue?

A: "Obviously, after the World Cup, personally I questioned myself a bit. I knew that we had to work on a lot of points. I tried to put all of this in place. I feel very good. today in a club or in the French team. I have made a little progress on my risk-taking, in front of goal. I have a position where I play very high so I have to be more decisive sometimes. I have made progress on that. The World Cup has also forged me a bit. I still had a very good World Cup, because it was new for us, but it's true that I did not play (only a handful of minutes, Editor's note) and obviously, when you are a competitor you want to play. But I questioned myself, I knew that I also had to make efforts, that I be aware of my qualities and that I manage to put them at the service of the collective. This is what is the hardest sometimes. I continued to work, to take into account the remarks of my

club coach and the coach.

Today, I feel good, I feel that I am trusted. "

Q: Do you still feel like a "youngster" in the France team or have you matured?

A: "Today, I no longer feel like a youngster. I think I gained a lot of experience and that is mainly thanks to the big competitions, the important matches, the Champions League. I keep improving. "
