Freiburg (dpa / lsw) - In the recent trial of the years of abuse of a boy from Staufen, the Freiburg regional court wants to decide whether preventive detention will be ordered against the accused.
The verdict is due to be announced today (from 9 a.m.).
The Spaniard was sentenced to ten years in prison in 2018 for the serious rape of the boy, who was nine at the time, child abuse and forced prostitution.
Preventive detention was waived at that time.
However, the public prosecutor subsequently obtained before the Federal Court of Justice that the possibility of preventive detention had to be decided again.
