A dramatic road accident took place this Monday morning in Saint-Genis-Laval (Rhône).

In this town in the metropolis of Lyon, a young biker was killed after hitting a car.

According to the first elements collected by

Le Progrès

from the gendarmes, the collision between the motorcycle of the 17-year-old victim and the vehicle was caused by a refusal of priority.

It was around 7 a.m. on Monday when this fatal accident took place.

Unconscious when the firefighters arrived, the biker was declared dead at around 8 a.m.

The motorist involved in this accident, aged about fifty, was for his part taken in relative emergency to the hospital.
