Three arrests after an accident that injured three gendarmes

Three men were arrested and taken into police custody after the accident which seriously injured three gendarmes on November 18 in Fourques (Gard),

learned

from the public prosecutor of Nîmes, Eric Maurel.

About sixty gendarmes were leading an anti-crime operation, and when a vehicle refused to comply, two motorcyclists from the motorized platoon of Nîmes pursued it.

A heavyweight deviated from its path

The vehicle then struck a heavy vehicle which deviated from its path and itself collided with the two gendarmes.

The driver of the truck was also seriously injured.
