The department noted that they have repeatedly met to discuss the requirements and pre-installation procedure with specialized associations, equipment manufacturers, retailers, developers of mobile operating systems and app stores.
The ministry said that "a general concern about the timing was heard," in connection with which options are currently being worked out that will balance the interests of all participants. "
“The deputies have prepared a bill on the postponement of the pre-installation to April 1, 2021, and we expect that it will be adopted in the near future,” the press service added.
Earlier it was reported that the Russian Ministry of Digital Science will prepare a list of software that is planned to be pre-installed on electronic devices.
