But I started to investigate a little and I realized that Miss Universe has evolved a lot and now she is in charge of giving voice to the characters who do not have it.

In addition, the misses are responsible for transmitting many values.

And what would those values ​​be in your case? For example, when I was preparing for the contest, I uploaded a video to my social networks, talking about my experience with bullying.

And as a result of that, I decided to contact psychologists to help me train a little.

I want to be able to guide people well. Regarding bullying, can I ask who subjected her to that ordeal? My teachers and my best friends.

Everything happened.

For example, in elementary school, they ignored me and withdrew my word without knowing why.

They pushed me down the stairs, they threw balls at me, they stole things from me.

Even a teacher told me "you are going to get absolutely nothing in life."

It was demoralizing.

They were constant humiliations.

And to this day I still don't know why.

I guess it was out of envy.

Because I have always been a very normal girl and I think I have fallen in grace for that very reason, because I am able to relate to everyone and I have no problems with anyone.

Have you managed to get over the issue in any way?

Because it is a very strong experience, I have understood that those who had the real problem were them.

They made me suffer, but today I can walk with my head held high, knowing that I have never treated a person badly.

And they, when they see me now on the street, they look down.

I have been able to overcome it.

I imagine basketball helped her a lot too.

In her childhood, she was selected by the Castilla y León team, participated in the Spanish junior and cadet championships and was preselected by the Spanish team for the U-15 European Championship. Yes, basketball and fashion have me saved a little bit.

When you are little, bullying undermines you, causes you insecurities and the fact of working as a team, in basketball, helped me a lot.

Because you realize that if you improve, your colleagues also, that if you do something wrong, it affects them too.

And you realize that if you treat someone well, that will have a 100% impact on you ... and in a very good way.

And on the other hand, the world of fashion has helped me regain my self-confidence.

Because I understood that you don't have to compare yourself to anyone.

You are you and there will be no other like you.

You may not be chosen in a casting, but that does not mean that you are worse than the others.

I understand what you are saying, but there are people to whom it happens differently.

For example, it is always criticized by Miss Universe that all of her participants are tall, slim and toned.

There are very few that escape that canon and that affects, in some way, the viewers.

It's like saying "this is the only valid canon to be beautiful" ... If you look at Miss Universe 2020, the South African Zozibini Tunzi, you can see how the contest has evolved.
