The audience ceiling is lowered - a maximum of eight seated

To this day, the consultative bodies have had the opportunity to submit their views to the county administrative boards.

In a press release, the County Administrative Board of Skåne writes that they have now decided to lower the audience ceiling to eight people, for public gatherings and public events with seated participants.

The press release states that other counties will also introduce the same limit.

- We in all counties agree on an audience ceiling of eight.

With the large spread of infection we have, it is important that it is clear what applies, says Anneli Hulthén, Governor of Skåne County.

Exceptions for restaurants

Restaurants and cafés are excluded from the eight-person limit, as they are governed by a different set of rules. However, this does not apply if the restaurant organizes a concert or something else that counts as a public event.

The exception is also funerals, when 20 people are allowed to gather.
