- We have received indications that it will be very slippery during the morning.

It is slippery and we have had four traffic accidents.

Our fire trucks have reported that there is black ice, says Daniel Lundin, operations manager at the rescue service.

What does that mean?

- It is ice but it is thin and very difficult to see and you often only discover it when you make a quick maneuver such as trying to stop.

Hopefully it disappears now that the morning sun comes out.

Four accidents within an hour:

  • At 06.37, a car drove off the road on road 838 at Kisselbro between Vagnhärad and Gnesta outside Trosa.

According to the rescue service, no person should have had to seek care.

  • At 06.42, a car spun around on road 53 between Nyköping and Oxelösund and drove into the center railing.

The accident must have occurred in the direction of Oxelösund.

According to the rescue service, one person was taken to hospital for check-up.

  • At 06.44, the rescue service received an alarm about a single accident on the E4 at Tystberga.

A car went off the road that was kept closed after the accident.

Now, however, it should be free to move forward.

One person was taken to hospital but the injury situation is unclear.

  • At 07.26, the rescue service was alerted to the exit Bergshammar on the E4 just south of Nyköping where a car turned around and ended up on the roof.

When the rescue service arrived at the scene, work began on getting the person out of the car.

Just before eight o'clock the person was out of the car and was taken care of by the medical staff.

    The damage situation is unclear.

The exit was closed for about an hour but now it should be fully passable.
