American mountain park Michael Knappensky came to life again after his heart stopped for a full 45 minutes, when he was found frozen in the dark in Mount Rainier National Park in Washington.

"He came back from death, it was not a miracle, it was a science," Jenelle Badulak, a doctor in the intensive care unit at Harborview Medical Center, told CNN.

She added, "Michael was unconscious, and he was suffering from a severe hypothermia, and his heart stopped shortly after arriving at the emergency room, and there were no major injuries, so we all thought about using an extracorporeal membrane oxygenation). A machine that works to draw blood from the body, then oxidizes it outside it before pumping it again, with the aim of warming the body to its normal temperature, and then the heart returns to work normally, which happened after only 45 minutes.

Earlier, Gary Knapinsky - Michael's cousin - posted a Facebook post in which he said, "To anyone near Camp Muir today, my cousin Michael Knappensky (45 years) has been lost in the area since yesterday .. Please let us know if you see him."

But he returned again and published a video clip of his conversation with him after recovery, and commented, "This is Michael now .. He will be fine." According to press reports, Michael left the medical center after 8 days.
