If everything goes according to plan with the vaccines, there will be no further serious wave of infections in autumn 2021.
But now we have to get through a long, hard virus winter first.
To be careless about the light at the end of the tunnel would be a (further) unforgivable mistake of a state that has done a lot well and a lot wrong in dealing with the pandemic.
