Kiel (dpa / lno) - Bridging aid provided by the federal government in the Corona crisis is now reaching Schleswig-Holstein's economy.

The first of the 705 applications already received had been approved and instructed to pay out, said Minister of Economics Bernd Buchholz (FDP) on Monday.

The so-called bridging aid II covers the months from September to December.

Small and medium-sized companies as well as self-employed persons and freelancers receive up to 50,000 euros a month in non-repayable subsidies for fixed operational costs.

In addition to the bridging aid, there should be November aid for companies in the partial lockdown.

According to earlier information, it should be possible to apply for them later this week.

Countries like Schleswig-Holstein had asked for improvements.
