Democrat Joe Biden's victory in key Michigan state was officially certified on Monday.
A new setback for outgoing Republican President Donald Trump who still refuses to concede his defeat in the presidential election of November 3.

A commission validated at a public meeting the tally of the results in this state with 16 electors, where Joe Biden has a lead of 155,000 votes.
One of its four members, a Republican, abstained, echoing the accusations of irregularities made, without evidence, by the outgoing president.
