The joy gave way to consternation for the teams of the National Institute for Preventive Archaeological Research who are currently excavating a necropolis in the town of Plougonvelin in Finistère.

On Tuesday, they unearthed bones dating from nearly 4,000 years ago by opening one of the site's best-preserved graves.
“It is a site of great interest.
This is really the first time that we have found a necropolis of this size in Brittany, ”welcomed Stéphane Blanchet, head of archaeological research at Inrap.
A partly destroyed ceramic

Sunday afternoon, individuals were surprised by a local resident while they were trying to dismantle part of the chest of a grave.
In the early evening, an individual wearing a balaclava and a headlamp again ventured onto the construction site, partially destroying a ceramic found in one of the graves.
"The vase was hidden under a tarpaulin and well protected, the person exploded it by scratching the ground", indicates Stéphane Blanchet to our colleagues.
A complaint was filed on Monday at the gendarmerie.
