A mare found mutilated in a Gironde equestrian center

The young horse died during the weekend in Gironde.

"A horse died in the weekend and as a police investigation is underway, we can not give more information", confirms

the equestrian center of Beychac-et-Caillau, in Gironde.

One of the animals at the center, a mare according to Sud-Ouest, baptized "baby ganja" was found lifeless and allegedly the victim of acts of cruelty, according to the message posted by the equestrian center on its Facebook page.

The center explains that it has put the rest of its animals to safety, which are monitored night and day.

This death comes as the discoveries of horses or other mutilated animals have been linked for several months in France.
