The night from Sunday to Monday was dramatic in Montbéliard.
A 26-year-old man died in the city of Doubs after a stabbing fight between three people, one of whom went to the police.
“We have a person in custody for stabbing murder,” Montbéliard prosecutor Ariane Combarel said.
The facts took place around 1 a.m.
During the violence, a 26-year-old man was injured in the thigh, said a police source.
He died shortly after in hospital.
Three hours later, at around 4 a.m., the alleged perpetrator, aged 34, contacted the police station to report.
He was arrested at his home and was therefore taken into police custody.
