Xinhua News Agency, Paris, November 22 (Reporter Chen Chen) The French Ministry of Agriculture confirmed on the 22nd that a French farm had mink infected with the new crown virus.

The French Ministry of Agriculture issued a press release that day, saying that the French National Health and Security Agency started a scientific research project in mid-November to detect the presence of the new crown virus in four mink farms.

So far, researchers have discovered the spread of the new crown virus in a farm in Eure-Loire.

The French Ministry of Agriculture and other departments have instructed the farm to immediately culminate the 1,000 existing minks and destroy related products to protect public health.

The communiqué stated that the researchers did not find the new crown virus in another farm that had completed testing, and the sampling and analysis of the remaining two farms is still in progress.

In addition, the staff of these four farms have been tested for the new coronavirus and the results have all been negative.

According to reports, countries such as Denmark, the Netherlands, and Spain have experienced large-scale infections of the new crown virus in mink farms.
