The Egyptian Football Association announced the official logo for the new season of the local league, and the logo appeared at the draw ceremony for the league matches that took place today, Monday.
The pioneers of social networking sites interacted with the shape of the new logo for the Egyptian League, which was met with great ridicule, and different similarities in a comic way, as is customary for the Egyptian fans.
Tweeters saw that the logo was imitated and inspired by the Premier League slogan, "The Premier League", while others likened it to the Egyptian Pyramids Club logo.

Some activists resorted to making comparisons between the image of the new logo and other similar images of actors and personalities in a sarcastic way, describing its shape as "funny" and that it was not appropriate for the name and history of the Egyptian league.

According to the statements of the head of the Competitions Committee, Mazen Marzouk, the new season of the Egyptian League will start on December 11th.
Al-Ahly will start the title defense campaign by facing its guest, "Al-Maqsat Al-Maqsat", while Zamalek, last season's summer host, will play its host "The Arab Contractors", and the two rivals will meet in the Egyptian Football Clasico in the fourth round of the competition.
