The Church of Sweden is now preparing for a different Christmas celebration in Värnamo municipality.
The churches in the municipality usually have a joint Christmas celebration where people who want can sign up and participate.
- Christmas is very much about fellowship for many, it is about that we are allowed to gather around the big, that God wants fellowship with us, and we shape this through family dinners, demonstrations but also concerts, but everything will be different this year, says Pär-Magnus Möller, pastor of the Church of Sweden in Värnamo.
The Christmas celebrations will, among other things, take place digitally this year, through live broadcasts on various platforms.
How should some older people be able to take part in the Christmas celebrations?
- We will also broadcast the Christmas celebration via Värnamo Närradio as we always do, says Pär-Magnus Möller.
