According to the director of the People's Control Organization Natalia Chernysheva, from July 1, tariffs will increase by about 4-6%.

"As for the increase in tariffs from July 1, 2021, it usually happens on average by 4-6%, depending on the regions," Chernysheva said.

According to her, also from January 1, the moratorium on fines and shutdowns of utility services for non-payment will be terminated.

According to Sergei Minko, General Director of Urban Innovative Technologies PJSC, from January 2021 gas tariffs will be indexed by an average of 3%.

"Electricity tariffs will be indexed in July by 4%, and from July 1, 2021, tariffs for garbage collection will increase (by 4%)," he said. 

Minko added that on average, the cost of heating, water supply and sanitation services will increase by 4%.

Earlier, Pavel Kachkaev, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Housing Policy and Housing and Utilities, in an interview with the NSN, commented on the proposal to fully compensate the payment for housing and communal services to families with incomes at or below the subsistence level per person.
