Berlin (dpa / bb) - In Berlin, several thousand opponents of the corona policy of the federal and state governments want to take to the streets this Sunday (12 p.m.).

5000 participants are registered for the demonstration in Prenzlauer Berg, known as the “silent march”.

Similar calls are available for several German cities, including Eberswalde and Cottbus.

The initiators therefore aim for a peaceful demonstration.

The demands include more self-determination in the fight against the pandemic, fewer restrictions by government regulations and a waiver of vaccinations.

The initiators speak of "permanent fear campaigns" and express doubts that science on the subject of Corona works independently of the government.

There was a similar elevator on Kurfürstendamm in October.

Initiators of a counter-demonstration from the left-wing spectrum see it as a “victim staging” in which well-known neo-Nazis took part.

You want to disturb the "silent march" loudly.

On Wednesday several thousand people protested against the corona policy at the Brandenburg Gate.

There were 365 preliminary arrests and 77 police officers were injured.
