The incident occurred on Saturday evening, November 21 local time.
"Two people were taken to the University of Nebraska Medical Center," the police officer said in a press release on Twitter.
The suspect was detained, he was placed in custody.
Earlier, several people were injured in the shooting at a shopping center in the US state of Wisconsin.
