The Opposition Platform - For Life (OCPL) party criticized the Kharkiv court ruling on placing under house arrest representatives of the National Corps and Azov, who are suspected of attacking a minibus of the Patriots For Life public organization.

The party believes that the president of Ukraine and his entourage have actually united with radical formations.

"Opposition Platform - For Life" declares that such a decision of the Kharkiv court, adopted at the suggestion of the prosecutor's office and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, testifies to the final merging of Zelensky's power with national radicals, unwillingness to defend constitutional order and uphold justice, as well as the use of tools of political terror " , - said in a message on the website of the political force.

"They are treated in a fatherly way"

We will remind, the resonant incident occurred on August 27 on the highway Kiev - Kharkov.

The vehicle with 22 activists was blocked by fighters of nationalist groups.

First, they fired at a minibus, and then severely beat representatives of the Patriots - For Life organization.

The attack was recorded on video by eyewitnesses and posted on YouTube.

According to police, as a result of the incident, four people were hospitalized.

The head of the Kharkiv regional organization "Patriots - For Life" Denis Bashtovoy, who was in a minibus on August 27, said that three of his colleagues had received gunshot wounds.

According to him, some of the attackers, armed with Kalashnikov assault rifles, threatened with physical violence.

In hot pursuit, law enforcement officers detained 14 radicals.

Subsequently, 16 people were arrested.

According to the founder of the movement "Patriots - For Life", deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Ilya Kiva, another 30 suspects are on the wanted list.

The police qualified the actions of the malefactors under the articles "Hooliganism" and "Attempted murder of two or more persons for hooligan motives, committed by prior conspiracy by a group of persons."

However, subsequently, information about the commission of a crime provided for only by the article "Hooliganism" was entered into the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations.

The HLOJ viewed the attack on activists as an act of terrorism.

According to the party, "by releasing national radicals under house arrest, the government is taking another step towards ensuring that they remain unpunished."

“This is a pure 'agreement' between nationalist marginal structures and the cowardly power represented by the president.

The bandits who are behind bars are released under house arrest, the degree of their crime is lowered, the article is changed ... ”- Ilya Kiva said in an interview to 112 Ukraine TV channel on November 20.

Viktor Medvedchuk, chairman of the political council of the OPSL, in turn, insists that law enforcement officers should initiate a criminal case under the article “Terrorism” against the radicals who destroyed the minibus with the activists.

According to him, radical groups feel “completely free” in Ukraine, can use firearms with impunity and put pressure on the court.

"The need for Zelensky to decide on whose side he is - victims or executioners, with people who put themselves above the law, or with citizens whom he, as a guarantor of compliance with the Constitution, must protect, with which I turned to the president, has become even more acute." , - quotes the press service of the HLSA statement by Medvedchuk.

Meanwhile, experts interviewed by RT believe that Vladimir Zelensky and his entourage continue the repressive policy of Petro Poroshenko, which is expressed in various forms of persecution of dissidents.

Violent acts by radical organizations have become one of the central tools in the fight against ideological opponents, analysts say.

At the same time, as noted by the deputy director of the Institute of CIS Countries Vladimir Zharikhin, in post-Maidan Ukraine it is extremely rare to count on adequate work of law enforcement and judicial authorities - in the overwhelming majority of cases, decisions are made in favor of nationalists.

“The main driving force in Ukraine after the 2014 coup d'etat remains the radicals.

The post-Maidan authorities, including Zelensky, treat the ultra-right in a fatherly way, do not hesitate to use them to fight opponents.

It is not surprising that the nationalists who attacked the bus were first softened the article, then the conditions of detention, and as a result they can be justified at all, "Zharikhin said in an interview with RT.

In turn, Rostislav Ishchenko, president of the Center for Systems Analysis and Forecasting, says that the law enforcement and judicial systems have been virtually destroyed in Ukraine, which allows radicals to rampage.

"Doesn't know how to run the state"

Experts say that another reason for the impunity of ultra-right groups is the failed youth and “patriotic” policy of Kiev.

According to analysts, the aggressive nationalist propaganda of recent years, which the Kiev authorities condone, has led to an increase in the popularity of radical groups.

At the same time, the difficult economic situation has led to an outflow of young people, including those who do not agree with the post-Maidan changes.

Rostislav Ishchenko notes that Zelensky is trying to change the situation.

So, on November 21, the President of Ukraine called on the country's youth to take part in the large-scale nationwide flash mob Ukraine NOW and "tell about love for Ukraine" in a video.

“I watched a video about our modern Ukraine, about young generations of freedom, born in an independent country.

Free, beautiful, strong!

This is the Ukraine I believe in.

And let's see what kind of Ukraine our youth believes in! "

- Zelensky said.

He promised to meet with ten winners of the flash mob on the country's Independence Day, August 24, 2021, when Ukraine will celebrate the 30th anniversary of its statehood.

“Zelensky is engaged in the propaganda of love for the homeland in the best way he can.

It is another matter that all this activity looks ridiculous and does not motivate in the least with an award, which for some reason is a meeting with the president.

It is strange and senseless, ”says Ishchenko.

In his opinion, Zelensky resorts to "the worst examples of Soviet political education", choosing a primitive form of expressing warm feelings for his native country in the form of a flash mob with an English name.

“If the authorities are trying to organize such an event, it would be nice to first list the achievements of the homeland, from where, by the way, young people and other able-bodied people leave in droves.

But Zelenskiy has nothing to communicate to his voters.

Therefore, he asks citizens to come up with what they love Ukraine for and why they should be proud of it, ”says Ishchenko.

Vladimir Zharikhin attributed Zelenskiy's call for a flash mob in part to the influence of his previous profession.

“Zelenskiy does not know how to run the state and does not know how to rally people around him for a specific goal.

But he succeeded in organizing flash mobs and other entertainment events, which he continues to do as head of state, apparently forgetting that he has not been a showman for a long time, "Zharikhin summed up.
