“Thanks to joint efforts with Russia, we were able to stop the bloodshed in Karabakh, as well as to work out an agreement that could not be reached for 30 years,” RIA Novosti quoted him as saying at the Halifax forum on international security.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin noted that Turkey has never hidden its support for Azerbaijan in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
He also announced the right of Azerbaijan to choose any ally for itself.
