Idar-Oberstein (dpa / lrs) - The Rhineland-Palatinate AfD is preparing its state list for next year's federal elections at a party conference this Saturday (10:00 a.m.).
The meeting takes place in the spacious exhibition hall of Idar-Oberstein (Birkenfeld district).
The party members had already gathered there at the beginning of September to decide on their program and the list of candidates for the state elections in March.
With a view to the measures imposed for the event due to the corona pandemic, the AfD board has announced a “tightened hygiene concept” with a mask requirement, sufficient distance between party members and special supervisory staff.
If the list of candidates is not fully completed on Saturday, the party still has Sunday as an additional date.
