"Today, 3001 beds have been deployed on the territory of the republic to treat patients with a new coronavirus infection," RIA Novosti quoted Borisov as saying.

She noted that "this is almost one and a half times more than in the spring, and every day, if necessary, the bed capacity increases."

According to her, "most of the sick are adults, today children make up about 11% of the total, of which less than 3% are in hospitals."
