  A safety official in the province told Xinhua News Agency that the accident occurred on a highway in Minya Province, when a bus collided with a truck while driving at high speed.

  The official said that after the accident, seven ambulances rushed to the scene of the incident, and the injured were sent to nearby hospitals for treatment. One of the injured was in critical condition.

  He said that the road section of the incident was damaged and lack of timely maintenance, so traffic accidents occurred from time to time.
