Munich (dpa / lby) - After the Munich Administrative Court, the Bavarian Administrative Court has also confirmed the ban on a "lateral thinker" demonstration against the Corona policy planned for Saturday.

The organizers had registered a rally with up to 30,000 participants on Munich's Theresienwiese.

The city of Munich prohibited this and was first confirmed by the Munich administrative court on Friday.

The city rightly assumed that the assembly, taking into account the experience with assemblies of the “lateral thinking” movement, was not justifiable in terms of infection protection law, the responsible Senate of the Bavarian Administrative Court stated.

The organizers had expressly refused in the administrative procedure to take precautions for compliance with hygiene measures, i.e. minimum distances and the wearing of masks.

The assurance of such measures, which was only given in court proceedings, was assessed as "purely procedural tactical submissions" and was "unbelievable".

There is no legal remedy against the decision of the Administrative Court.
