Secretaries of the Security Councils of Russia and Israel discussed the situation around Syria

This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the press service of the Russian Security Council apparatus.

"Nikolai Patrushev and Meir Ben-Shabat discussed issues of Russian-Israeli cooperation in countering the spread of coronavirus infection, as well as the situation around Syria," the press service said.

Earlier, Patrushev had a meeting in Moscow with Egyptian Foreign Minister Samekh Shukri.
