The candidate of the Congress for Democracy and Progress, the party founded by former President Blaise Compaoré met his activists for the last big meeting in the capital before the poll at Place de la Nation in Ouagadougou.

The first criticisms against the power of Roch Marc Christian Kaboré came from Salifou Sawadogo, a former minister of Blaise Compaoré.
