Löw, 60, in office for 14 years, is hotly contested after Germany suffered its biggest post-war defeat.
She had not lost by six goals since a friendly match against Austria (6-0) in 1931.
Nevertheless, after a crisis meeting between the coach and the president of the Federation Fritz Keller on Wednesday in Munich, the trend seems to be to keep Löw in his post until Euro-2021 next June.
Since the World Cup-2018, during which Germany had not managed to leave its group, the Mannschaft has obtained mixed results, until the humiliation inflicted by Spain.
Several German football legends did not hesitate to attack Löw head-on.
