Gorelkin noted that "large foreign IT platforms are increasingly restricting Russian media: they block and remove their accounts from search results, restrict the distribution of publications, and sometimes even simply delete published materials."

Roskomnadzor also recommended that the Russian media post videos on the Internet platforms of domestic companies amid cases of the YouTube administration using locks, markings and warnings.
