“The government decided to support the proposal of the Lithuanian Ministry of Health and purchase 1.24 million doses of vaccine from BioNTech and Pfizer,” TASS reports.

Lithuanian Minister of Health Aurelius Veriga said that it is planned to purchase four types of vaccines from different manufacturers. 

Earlier in the companies Pfizer and BioNTech reported that the final analysis of data from clinical trials of the vaccine they developed for the coronavirus showed its effectiveness at the level of 95%.
