From January to October of this year, the nationwide gun and explosive crimes decreased by 13.3% and 19.2% respectively compared with the same period last year.

Wang Ligang, head of the Public Security Police Headquarters of the Shandong Provincial Public Security Department, told reporters that the issue of gun explosions is related to public security and the country’s long-term peace. There are 6,089 pieces, more than 20,000 detonators, 6,300 kilograms of explosives, and more than 110 tons of explosive hazardous chemicals.

For two consecutive years, there have been "zero incidents" of violent crimes involving gun possession and explosions, and it has been in the forefront of the national special assessment of combating gun explosions for seven consecutive years.
