The Syrian News Agency (SANA) reported this morning, Wednesday, that the Syrian air defenses responded to Israeli air strikes in the sky of the capital, Damascus, while the Israeli army said it had targeted Iranian military sites.
SANA said that "the air defense media responded to an Israeli aggression in the sky of the Damascus area."
For its part, the Israeli army said it had launched raids on military sites belonging to the Iranian Quds Force and the Syrian army in Syria.
The correspondent of the German News Agency had reported hearing the sound of an explosion in the sky of Damascus in the early hours of this morning.
