Joachim Löw, the coach of Germany crushed 6-0 by Spain on Tuesday, has no explanation for "a dark evening", but believes he has "no reason" to remind the 2014 world champions that 'he retired internationally in 2019.

"Nothing worked: body language, aggressiveness, engagement in duels, we did not see any of that on the ground", he lamented on the German channel ARD after the defeat in the League of Nations, the first of the German team by 6 goals gaps since 1931, in a friendly against Austria (6-0).

Asked about the possibility of recalling Thomas Müller, Jérôme Boateng and Mats Hummels, the thirty-something who shine with their club Bayern and Dortmund, Löw seemed inflexible.

"We said we trusted our players, we were on the right track, even though we saw tonight that we weren't as far as we hoped, and that we believed", a- he recognized.

"For the moment, there is no reason" to recall the elders, he assured.

"At 1-0, we abandoned our game plan", he also analyzed, to explain the debacle, "we suddenly left the match, we opened spaces (...) he did not There was no organization, no communication between players, and tonight, it was deadly ".

"After the break, we tried to push them, to try to score and get back into the game, but they were just faster, stronger collectively, more dynamic, we had no control, won no duel", admitted the coach, strongly criticized since September.
