After several mild winters, the requirements for moving the rally to safer areas have become increasingly clear.
After this year's competition, Glenn Olsson began work on finding possible alternatives in regions that can take over the rally.
Alternatives as host cities are Luleå, Umeå and Östersund, in collaboration with adjacent municipalities, and an expanded collaboration between Värmland and Dalarna.
All facts before Christmas
In addition to trying to plan for the 2021 competition, which will be decided in Värmland, Dalarna and Norway, Glenn Olsson has also had many discussions with representatives of the regions in the north.
Before Christmas, all facts must be collected.
But a decision about a possible move of the Swedish rally will be made only after the competition 2021.
