  According to forecasts, from the 17th to the 19th, there will be heavy rains in the southeastern part of the Northwest China, the central and southern parts of the Northeast, the southern part of North China, Huanghuai, Jianghuai, Jianghan, and the northern part of Jiangnan. There were torrential rains in some areas, heavy rains occurred locally in southeastern Liaoning, with a cumulative rainfall of 30-80 mm and local areas of 100-120 mm.

There is light snow or sleet in northern North China, the central and northern parts of Northeast China, and the eastern part of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. Among them, there are moderate to heavy snow or sleet in parts of central and eastern Inner Mongolia, Heilongjiang, and northern Jilin, and local blizzards or heavy snowstorms. Add 5-10 cm of snow, and the local area exceeds 15 cm.

Local daily precipitation in the southern part of Northeast China and eastern Huanghuai area may exceed the historical extreme value during the same period.

  In terms of strong wind cooling, from the 17th to the 19th, affected by the cold air, the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River and most areas north of it had winds of magnitude 4-6 and gusts of 7-8, among which wind gusts of magnitude 9 and above in the east and south of the northeast.

The temperature in the above-mentioned areas dropped by 4°C-6°C, and the temperature drop in parts of northern and northeastern China ranged from 8°C to 10°C, with local temperatures reaching over 10°C.

  Meteorological experts reminded that the impact of this rain and snow process is wide and extreme. The northeast area has strong wind gusts and obvious cooling.
