On the banks of the Yangtze River, the first phase of the Jingzhou coal and iron combined transportation storage and distribution base is nearing completion.

The project plans a total investment of 7 billion yuan and a planned area of ​​4,500 mu.

After being put into use, it can realize a coal material flow of 40 million tons per year, an annual coal throughput of 50 million tons, and a static coal storage capacity of 5 million tons.

It has four major functions: logistics and distribution, emergency storage, coal blending and processing, and coal trading.

Fang Jianxin, general manager of Hubei Jingzhou Coal Port Co., Ltd., introduced that after the completion of the construction of the Jingzhou coal and iron-water combined transportation storage and distribution base, it will become a green and intelligent port in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River, which will provide a good coal guarantee and ballast for central China. effect.

  According to reports, the first phase of the project has entered the final stage and is expected to open for trial operation at the end of 2020.
