Putin awarded the crew members of the downed Mi-24 with the Order of Courage

) the Order of Courage to Senior Lieutenant Vladislav Gryazin, Major Yuri Ishchuk (posthumously), Senior Lieutenant Roman Fedina (posthumously)," the Kremlin said in a statement.

Earlier, Vladimir Putin, the leadership of the Ministry of Defense and the heads of the defense industry enterprises observed a minute of silence in memory of the two dead members of the Mi-24 crew shot down over Armenia.

Mi-24 was shot down on November 9 near the border with Azerbaijan, two people were killed, one more was injured.

They said in Baku that they accidentally shot down a helicopter and apologized. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, in a conversation with Putin, promised that those responsible would be punished.
