During the Corona pandemic, reports to ARN have flowed in like never before, which has led to a sharp increase in processing times.

- Since mid-March, we have seen a very sharp increase in the number of cases received, says Marcus Isgren, head of ARN to SVT.

Have you seen anything like this before?

- No, never ever actually.

It is above all canceled trips and events that have led more and more dissatisfied consumers to turn to ARN.

In most cases, most companies usually follow the advice given by ARN after consumers have complained, but in recent months there has been a clear change, especially for companies in the travel and event industry.

- From the summer onwards, we see a sharp deviation.

Companies no longer follow our decisions to the same extent.

Why do you think they do not follow ARN's decision?

- Mainly because you do not have money, these are industries where really all income has disappeared and then you do not have money to do right by yourself.

How do you see that more and more companies are not following your recommendations?

- It is of course serious when companies do not comply with Swedish legislation.
