North America, Canada Announces Ban on 1,500 Models of Assault Weapons
A group of suspects could have taken
several people hostage
at Ubisoft's offices in Montreal, northeast Canada, according to local media in the Québec city.
Local police have confirmed that a large police operation is underway around the offices of the French video game giant, responsible for titles such as Assassin's Creed and Prince of Persia.
Images broadcast by social networks and local television channels showed a large group of employees who have managed to escape from the alleged attackers and have taken refuge on the roof,

The authorities have asked citizens on Twitter to avoid that sector, although they have not confirmed if there has been hostage taking or how many people are threatening Ubisoft employees.
