November 13, 2020Nine migrants, including some minors and a woman, were found inside a refrigerated truck on the outskirts of Benevento.
The vehicle, which was transporting yogurt and was headed for Germany, was traveling along the state road, in the Olivola district, when the driver heard some noises coming from the refrigerated box.
He then stopped the vehicle and discovered the presence of non-EU citizens.
Carabinieri and police officers intervened on the spot, together with a 118 ambulance that is providing the first treatment to immigrants.
